NOTICE
Baggage regulations will change from 1 December, 2009.
- The weight of your checked baggage, for the free allowance to apply, will increase to 20kg.
- The charge for excess bagagge and extra seat will change.
- The size of hand baggage you may take into the cabin will be standardized among domestic airlines.
- The size of your baggage will be checked at security inspection. Oversized baggage will not be able to be inspected. Please check them in at the counter.

Free Baggage allowance for cheked baggage is up to 20kg per person. (Premium Class passenger: 40kg)
In case baggage's weight is 21kg to 100kg, an excess baggage charge will be acquired.
The maximun weight for one baggage is 32kg, and we cannot accept over 100kg baggages in total.
Size:
The total linear dimension (length + height + width) should not exceed 203cm.

Ski equipment, golf bag and fishing equipment may not be accepted for flights operated by ANA (Q84, Q83, 320) and flights operated by IBEX and Oriental Air Bridge.

Other than personal belongings (hand bags, cameras, umbrellas, etc.), a passenger can carry only one piece of baggage satisfying the following conditions into the aircraft cabin. A baggage within the size specified below may be included in checked baggage when the size is not suited for the cabin. Please check in baggage (carrying bags, baby carriages, gunnysacks, etc.) exceeding the size specified below.

Carrying on of large fragile baggage (musical instruments, etc.) into cabin is limited depending on the seat type. Charges differ, depending on the size. For detailed information, please contact the ANA Flights Reservation and Information Center.
Expensive goods such as cash, precious metals, jewelry, valuable securities, art objects and fragile goods such as clocks/watches, cameras, PC or glassworks must not be included in checked-in baggage. ANA does not have any responsibility in case of lost items or damaged items.
For baggage and personal belongings with no price declaration, the indemnity is up to ¥150,000 per customer. When the actual price exceeds ¥150,000, an ad valorem charge may be applied. Please contact the staff prior to boarding.

Explosives(including fireworks), flammable liquids and solids(including matches , lighters and lighter fuels*, camping and household stoves with fuel**, alcoholic beverages exceeding*** 70% alcohol by volume), compressed gases(including butane gas cassettes, O2 bottles for sport use and Aerosols(Dust removal)), poisonous substances(including insecticides), corrosives, radioactive materials, highly magnetized materials, oxidizing substances, offensive or irritating substances, and any other articles liable to endanger and/or damage the aircraft, persons or properties aboard.

Items that can be used as deadly weapons such as scissors, tools, ice skates, baseball bats and golf clubs (even one club, including wood clubs and iron clubs) and ski-wax spray.
No knives can be carried on board, regardless of the type.

A small amount of safety matches or one lighter is permitted to be brought into the cabin, per person.
Please make sure not to leave any lighters, etc. in the cabin.

Fuel in camping and household stoves should be completely drained out prior to check-in.

Carriage of alcoholic beverages exceeding 24% by volume but not exceeding 70% by volume is limited to 5 liters in total per person whether it is checked or hand-carried.
Due to revisions of the notification of Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport, “Restrictions on the use of electronic items” were partially revised on and after Oct.1, 2007.
Following are the items cited in the notification, as the electronic devices which may interfere with the safety of flight operation. You are required to comply with the above by Japanese Law, and failure to do so will result in a fine up to ¥500,000.
The following, which emit radio waves when turned on:
Cellular phones, PHS (Handy Phone System),Transceivers, Radio operated toys, Wireless headphones, Wireless earphones, Wireless microphones, Built-in battery type IC tags, Personal computers, PDA (Personal Digital Assistance),Wireless personal computer peripherals, Electronic games, Pedometer with wireless transmission function, Cardio tachometer with wireless transmission function, Wrist watches with wireless transmission function, Wireless keys
The following, set in a condition that will not emit radio waves when turned on,
TVs, Radios, Beepers, GPS receivers, Video cameras, Video players, DVD players, Digital cameras, Digital audio players, Wired battery-operated headphones, Wired battery-operated earphones, Word processors, Electronic notepads, Electronic dictionaries, Printers, Battery chargers, Toys “electronic virtual pets” (limited to items in which the speaker or monitor is activated to sound or vibration)
ANA may restrict the use of a certain device regardless of the above.
*During Takeoff: Until the fasten seat belt sign is switched off after takeoff or the announcement allowing the use of electronic devices is made.
During Landing: After the announcement prohibiting the use of electronic devices is made, up until you leave the aircraft after landing.
All cellular phones emit radio waves automatically when they are turned on in order to send their position to the ground station. Please switch them off before boarding the aircraft and do not switch them on until after deplaning, as the waves may interfere with the systems of the aircraft. To prevent interference, restrictions also apply to electronic devices in the cabin even when the aircraft is on the ground. Smoking and use of flammable is strictly prohibited in all seats including lavatories, as these constitute dangerous fire-hazards. The triggering of smoke detectors is a serious matter leading to emergency landing at the nearest airport.
For the benefit of other passengers, use of smoke substitutes ( electronic cigarettes, etc.) that do not emit fire is also prohibited on board.
